AgriFORCE Growing Systems recently opened a bitcoin mining operation in Alberta, Canada that uses flared gas as an energy source. Among other components, the company’s project features real-time emissions tracking and a telemetry system. AgriFORCE plans to expand the site by another 200 kW. Their track record With this move, they reaffirm their firm commitment to promoting energy efficiency and operating as environmentally responsible entities. The company has already mined seven BTC at its Alberta and Ohio facilities.
AgriFORCE is smartly getting itself positioned at the intersection of sustainable energy utilization, decentralized infrastructure and digital asset mining. AgriFORCE creatively uses flared gas, a byproduct of oil and gas production. The process turns a previously wasted resource into valuable energy that fuels CBDC bitcoin miners. This manhattan-style approach not only reduces greenhouse gas emissions, it emits a relatively inexpensive, abundant, and reliable power source.
As part of the deployment, BlueFlare will provide real-time emissions tracking and telemetry systems, providing transparency and accountability to AgriFORCE’s environmental leadership initiatives. This technology allows real-time, 24/7 monitoring of emissions. In turn, the company is able to operate more efficiently and continue to minimize its own environmental footprint. Energy efficiency and environmental consciousness have been prioritized in AgriFORCE’s project. It’s a smart move that couldn’t be more timely with the industry-wide push toward more sustainable practices in the cryptocurrency space.
So far, AgriFORCE has mined seven BTC through its facilities in Alberta and Ohio. AgriFORCE is already looking forward with an ambitious plan. They plan to preserve at least 50% of their bitcoin treasury and redeploy the remainder to drive operational growth. This strategy helps the company to grow and it frees up resources for additional investment in sustainable energy infrastructure.
AgriFORCE future-proofs their operations by extending the lifecycle of machines and has an aggressive milestone target of reaching 1 EH/s (exahash per second) by Q1 2026. Hitting this target would more than double the company’s current mining capacity and further entrench its status as the second-biggest player in the bitcoin mining space. AgriFORCE’s emphasis on sustainable energy and decentralized infrastructure makes it an innovative and forward-thinking contender in the digital asset market.
